Spelling Homework
Spelling Homework is given at the start of each week. Spelling homework is differentiated to meet the needs of all students. Students will be given a menu of activities to choose from. They must complete a total of 20 points worth of activities by the end of the week. All activities that are completed must be handed in to their homeroom teacher the day of the Spelling test for credit.
4th Grade Spelling Lists
Students will be given a spelling packet on the first day of school. The packet will be placed and kept in the back of the student's take home folder. This packet will contain all 30 lists of spelling for the entire year. As students test on the lists, they will actively record their grade next to each list as the year progresses.
Spelling City
Spelling City is a web-based program that helps students master their spelling words. Spelling City is an option on the Spelling Homework Menu. For every 15 minutes on Spelling City the student will earn 5 points towards their spelling homework. No more than 10 points from Spelling City will be counted toward Spelling HW points. Below is the Spelling City link that only 4th Graders will find their Spelling lists.

Spelling Test Information
Spelling tests will be administered on the last day of the week. We will not have a spelling test if there are 3 or less days in the instructional week.
